foundation guidelines

The Margaret Beelard Community Foundation Board is dedicated to meeting the philanthropic goals of Margaret (Mig) Beelard. The residents of Vacaville and Solano County are the people she wanted to help. Grants are restricted to 501(c)(3) public charities and government agencies that operate in and around Vacaville and Solano County. No grants are made to individuals. Mig was an elementary school teacher, and many of her goals had a focus on education—especially for programs benefiting children. She also wanted to alleviate the suffering of the poor and to help with cancer research.

If your organization meets the above Foundation Guidelines and you wish to apply for a grant, print and fill out the application. Please include extra information you feel will be beneficial to the board while they are reviewing your grant request. The Board meets four times a year (February, May, August and November) to consider awarding grants.

No electronic submissions will be accepted. All applicants will be notified in writing of the board's decisions. If you have questions not addressed here, send them to: info@MargaretBeelardFoundation.org
